About the Desalination Academy
The Desalination Academy has trained desalination professionals since 2003: 5,255 participants so far, on site and online, in 61 courses. It offers technical and executive training and, coming soon, certified qualifications. The Desalination Academy is a brand of the PIM Group.
How we keep the standard
Every participant receives a printed handout in full colour, published under its own ISBN. After each course participants complete the Academy evaluation form on content, lecturers and organisation, and the results feed back into the next class.
Courses have been held in English since 2003, in various countries and regions. The Academy started as classroom training, added the digital Academy in 2015 and has run both as one unit since 2020. Participants can follow a role-based path through the programmes and qualify as a certified Desalter.
