The Academy combines classroom training and digital learning in one place. Participants take part live, on site or online, and work through recordings and presentations afterwards, independent of time and place.
The learning platform runs on our own campus server. Course materials, recordings and conference rooms are located there.

How do I get to the Academy campus?

How do I create an account?
Open the campus and choose "Create new account". Register with your e-mail address and your own password. You will receive a confirmation mail. Confirm it once and your profile is active.
How do I find my event, course or trade fair?
After login, open the course categories from your dashboard. The courses are sorted by subject and by year.
How do I know the costs?
Open the course preview and use the PayPal button. The PayPal window shows the price for your selection before you confirm anything.
How do I see the content of a course?
On your dashboard, open "My courses" and unfold the course you want. The left menu shows the short summary in chronological order. The main window shows the detailed sequence with times and places.
How do I enter a classroom or conference room?
Open the conference activity inside your course, then click "Join session". A new browser tab opens. The system asks for access to your microphone and camera. Grant this access and, if you have several microphones, select the one you want to use. The system then runs an echo test. If you hear your own voice, confirm with the green thumbs up. You are now in the room.
How do I leave the room?
Click the three vertically arranged dots in the upper right corner and choose the entry for leaving the conference. Confirm your selection. The tab closes and you return to the course page.
The other participants cannot hear me. What can I do?
Your microphone is muted when you enter the room. At the bottom of the window you find a round microphone symbol with a diagonal line through it. Click it once to activate your microphone.
The other participants cannot see me. What can I do?
Your camera is switched off when you enter the room. At the bottom of the window you find a round camera symbol with a diagonal line through it. Click it once to activate your camera.
Why do I see only the lecturer and the Institute staff?
During sections that are recorded we switch off sound and image transmission of the other participants. European data protection law requires us to protect their privacy.
